Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Install overhead hoists at both first fix and second fix stages.
  • To be fully aware of all Health and Safety procedures for installations and strong knowledge of site specific method statements.
  • Responsibility for installation project assigned and ensuring completing of scheduled work on time and to a very high standard as required.
  • Report all accidents and incidents that occur in installations immediately.
  • To be fully fit for the use of mobile towers, podium ladders and power tools.
  • Complete pre installation prep work by ensuring all materials are available at the start of each project
  • Work closely with Sales Department during installations.
  • Attend department meetings when requested and provide constructive feedback as a working member of the service dept.
  • Responsible for assigned project from start of installation through to commissioning ensuring all documentation is completed, signed and submitted.
  • Assist other departments when required due to business needs.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, processes and procedures for fixed good installations.
  • Monitor performance; provide coaching and mentoring where appropriate.

Each organization shall have sufficient personnel with the necessary education, background, training, and experience to assure that all activities required by this part are correctly performed and shall establish procedures for identifying training needs and ensure that all personnel are trained to adequately perform their assigned responsibilities. Training shall be documented.

Experience in use of power tools and following installation manuals essential.

Special Features:
· Must hold a full driving licence
· Garda Vetting will be required (at the cost of the company)

Requirement to travel and overnight stays in various locations within ROI
