We’re currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with an award-winning Pharmaceutical organization based in Cork. This is an excellent position for anyone who is looking to join a leading multinational who are one of the best at what they do.



The candidate must have a strong technical knowledge of analytical techniques and strong knowledge of related laboratory equipment in one or more of the following areas: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioassay or Microbiology.


Duties:

  • Support the Team Leader in day-to-day testing operations.
  • Perform data and QC investigation review and approval.
  • Review and approve deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
  • Plan and oversee lab-related projects such as method transfers and equipment qualification.
  • Proactively identify and drive laboratory process improvements.
  • Train laboratory teams on specific analytical technologies.
  • Provide subject matter expert technical support on analytical technologies.
  • Support lean initiatives in laboratory operations, including test method execution, documentation updates, and equipment qualification.
  • Present technical analytical data clearly and concisely to customers, internal investigations, and regulatory inspectors.
  • Keep abreast of analytical technology and compliance trends.


Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related scientific field
  • 4 years of related experience in the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Quality Control document reviews and regulatory inspection processes
  • Working knowledge of quality systems
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience with QC analytical testing methods and equipment
