We’re currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a Medical Device organization based in Dublin. This is an excellent position for anyone who is looking to join a leading multinational who are one of the best at what they do.

Duties

1. Lead Engineering activities
2. Design electro mechanical components and assemblies
3. Design plastic single use parts.
4. Lead in the development of Test Plans and Protocols
5. Execute characterization tests and draft test reports
6. Actively participate as part of a multi-skilled development team
7. Lead Root cause analysis of engineering problems.
8. Develop innovative solutions to engineering problems
9. Construct prototypes; evaluate and document their performance; identify possible improvements
10. Create and implement suitable tests to verify designs meet requirements
11. Lead and Support Technical Reviews for New Product Reviews and Sustaining Product Reviews
12. Responsible for recording and sharing technical knowledge gained with colleagues.
13. Adhere to design control and risk management policies.

Education & Experience

• Experience GMP experience environment
• Experience in development of complex devices from concept through to validation activities
• Hands-on experience constructing mechanical prototypes utilizing rapid-prototyping methods and equipment
• Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) experience a plus.
