We’re currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a Medical Device organization based in Limerick. This is an excellent position for anyone who is looking to join a leading multinational who are one of the best at what they do.


Duties

  • Development and implementation of appropriate supporting documentation, SOPs and process work instructions compliant with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Providing technical leadership on process in areas such as bio-materials, blending and coating of medical devices
  • Designing and commission biomaterial manufacturing equipment to support the business objectives.
  • Evaluating the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomaterial machines, equipment, and software.
  • Installing and calibrating biomaterial machines, equipment, and software.
  • Maintaining and repairing biomaterial machines and equipment, when needed.
  • Line performance monitoring, and the compilation and execution of structured event plans to remediate systemic issues that drive sub-optimal performance.
  • Process validation for products and processes; VP, IQ, OQ, PQ and associated documentation.
Education & Experience
  • Level 8 Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience is required.
  • Experience in Bio-materials and Coating systems an advantage.
  • Proven Project Management skills through the delivery of business critical projects.
